“My works are guided by and painted through the lens of the human experience. I find myself often intrigued by the ways in which we, as a collective race, mirror eachother; the habits that we always repeat and the choices that humanity always makes. I see wonder and feel comfort in these universal experiences, in the fact that every emotion and situtation we experience in our individual lives has already been felt and existed a million times over. These experiences from times faded in history and from memories long forgotten flow in the air around us like dust on the wind. However, ultimately, my art is a vehicle for better understanding my own self, but I know these experiences do not belong only to me, and so I hope others may find their reflection within my brushstrokes.”
